How can I transfer an account
to Artea Bankas?
Submit the application
Contact the nearest customer service department of Artea Bankas and fill in the request for the account transfer service.
Open a new account
Artea Bankas will open a new account for you and will conclude service contracts for transferred services
Wait for your new account number
The old account will be closed when the account transfer procedure is completed (i.e. the old account number will no longer be valid and you will be provided with a new account number at Artea Bankas).

- The service is provided to individuals and is completely free of charge.
- If there are two or more account holders, the bank must be provided with a request from each account holder (co-owner).
- Please note that you will be able to start using your new account immediately after opening it, but the moving of payment services (e.g., recurring payment services) may take up to 13 business days.
- The general rules for the switching of an account and a list of service providers can be found on the website of the Lithuanian Banking Association.
- If you have any complaints regarding the account switching service, you can file them with the bank in accordance with the established procedure.
