Ratings granted by international agencies

On 11 May 2026, the international credit rating agency Moody’s Ratings published an updated Credit Opinion on AB Artea bankas following the upgrade of the bank’s long-term deposit rating and the assignment of a positive outlook.

Moody’s rates AB Artea bankas’ long-term deposit rating at A3 and senior unsecured debt rating at Baa1, both with a positive outlook. The bank’s Baseline Credit Assessment stands at baa3.

According to Moody’s, the ratings reflect Artea bankas’ robust capitalisation, healthy earnings and sound liquidity buffers. Moody’s also notes that the positive outlook reflects expectations of improving profitability through better cost efficiency and a greater share of non-interest income.
