Information on whether the deceased is a customer of Artea Bank can only be provided to the official heirs. In order for this information to be provided, it is important to provide a notarised statement - a certificate of acceptance of the inheritance and the provision of such information to the prospective heir about the deceased's assets. Information on whether the deceased is a customer of the bank is provided promptly and free of charge, either during a visit to the bank branch or by telephone or e-mail. Please note that it is important to take an identity document (passport, ID card, etc.) with you when you visit the bank branch, as the bank staff will have to identify the person in order to provide the information.
Information on whether a deceased person had a bank account with Artea Bank is provided free of charge. When requesting information on the deceased's bank transactions, a certificate is drawn up, charged according to the service fees (Fees for the preparation of certificates and other documents - Artea Bank), and provided within a maximum of 15 working days.
Both the information on whether a person is a customer of the bank and the service of ordering a certificate of his/her transactions can be provided over the phone and by email. However, we always recommend that you register for a visit to the branch, especially if the heir is not a customer of Artea Bank and does not use electronic authentication. This will make it much easier and quicker to receive the service, as the heir will still have to forward the documents by email after contacting by phone or email. Often, heirs do not know how to proceed with the information they have, which is understandable, especially when there are other concerns in such a situation. The bank's customer service specialists are ready to be there for you in what is often a difficult moment, to answer any questions or remind you of what documents are needed and how to prepare them.
